The Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £40,000 along with other attractive benefits including a very generous pension scheme, 6 weeks annual leave and free lunch!

Primary responsibilities -
- Compilation of Management Account and KPI data
- Process Month End and correcting journals
- Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts, monthly
- Produce termly and end of year Statutory Accounts
- Assist with competitor & data analysis projects
- Assist in end of year Statutory Accounts preparation
- Review supplier invoices for coding accuracy and completeness (Lightyear)
- Oversee the prepaid card Expenses scheme, including posting monthly expense journals
- Set up price lists and payment equipment for external/commercial events
- Verifying bank account details for new suppliers
- Provide YTD spend detail/analysis to budget holders/SLT etc., as required
- Set up new budget codes within the maintained structure
- Assist with budget data preparation and system upload
- Maintaining Fixed Asset Register
Key experience and attributes;
- Minimum of three years relevant experience
- Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel
- Strong experience of analysing large data sets
- Good reconciliation skills
- Experience of assisting to produce Management Accounts and Statutory Reporting
- Attention to detail, with a methodical, logical approach
- Ability to work under pressure, to prioritise own workload in order to meet deadlines, whilst supporting team members in order they meet deadlines
