L&D/OD Partner - Interim

We've got an incredibly busy few months ahead of us at the General Dental Council (GDC), as we continue an exciting period of transformation.

As part of that journey we are recruiting an Organisational Development Partner to join us on a full-time, f ixed term contract for the remainder of 2024 in our central Birmingham office and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £38,928 - £45,796 per annum.

We offer hybrid working with 2 days in our Birmingham Office and 3 days from home.

Working with the rest of the Organisational Development team you will have a varied remit to develop and support our programmes of organisational change and learning development.

The role:

  • Supporting the delivery of organisational development (OD) projects which enable achievement of the GDC's corporate strategy, people strategy and workforce development plan.
  • Working collaboratively to contribute to the design and delivery of people and organisational development solutions, projects and training.
  • Supporting team and organisational development by signposting learning, internal and external opportunities and assisting with design and delivery of team or function development as a team consultant / coach using a range of psychometric and facilitation tools.??
  • Delivering learning solutions through a blended approach of online webinars and face to face workshops.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Broad experience across Organisational Development/Learning & Development. This may include:
  • Design and implementation of solutions to support people and organisational change.
  • Curation of a range of learning and development products through varied approaches and media.
  • Learning and leadership development aligned to future capability needs.?
  • Supporting with the development of talent management solutions against future capability needs.?
  • Workforce transformation and enablement of new ways of working.??
  • Organisational consulting, connecting people and business performance.?
  • Action planning for employee engagement survey results
