Finance Assistant - Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

Full Time - permanent
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
We are working with a leading Social Housing Repairs and Maintenance Contractor to find a successful and proactive Finance Assistant to join their team based in Finsbury Park.
Main duties:
- Working within purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
- Process invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Liaise with internal and external bodies to resolve queries
- Resolving queries on accounts and updating records
- Management of client debt balances and chasing outstanding accounts
- Account and statement reconciliations
- Allocating all monies received to customer accounts
- Monitor payments received and balances due
- General administration and ad hoc duties as required
Criteria:
- Experience of working in a similar role within a finance team
- Broad knowledge of financial systems and the ability to provide meaningful analysis
- Intermediate excel skills mandatory, advanced excel skills desirable
- Construction industry experience desirable
