Responsibilities:
- Production of financial statements together with well-presented working papers ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Serve as a key client contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, providing advice and support on financial matters.
- Guide and review the work of trainees and junior team members, for accuracy and completeness.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Utilise accounting software and tools to streamline operations and reporting.
- Ad hoc specialist assignments as and when they arise.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified ACA or ACCA
- Ability to multi-task and work to budgets
- Fully conversant with Sage and QuickBooks software
- Good English, both written and verbal
- Good time management with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Able to demonstrate wide experience and competency in full accounts production from basic prime books and records through to computerised accounting packages
