Sustainability Adviser

Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

We are currently working with an established Construction Organisation who are looking for a Sustainability Advisor.

The Role

In this Sustainability Advisor role, you'll stay on top of emerging technologies to see how they can advance our sustainability goals. You'll also be instrumental in securing funding by helping the team submit documents to energy suppliers and collaborating with other departments to research, support, and coordinate efforts to meet the requirements of green grant applications and opportunities.

As a Sustainability Advisor you:

  • Will develop innovative solutions to improve the compatibility of retrofit projects with renewable energy sources.
  • Will leverage knowledge of current and upcoming UK sustainability laws to create practical solutions.
  • Will drive internal initiatives for energy efficiency and micro-generation through cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Will help craft technical proposals outlining customized energy efficiency plans for clients.
  • Will keep up to date with new cutting-edge developments.
  • Will assist in collecting and analyzing data in relation to carbon, waste, product procurement, and community initiatives.

To be a successful Sustainability Adviser you will

:

  • Have experience within environmental/sustainability site delivery.
  • Have DEA Level 3.
  • Have a clear understanding of the energy sector.
  • Have experience working with data and translating them into reports and business cases.
  • Have an up-to-date knowledge of UK SHEQ legislation.
  • Have relevant construction or housing sector experience.
