Group Reporting Manager | FTSE listed business | £70,000-£80,000 + 20% bonus | Central London (2 days per week in the office) | Permanent role

A Group Reporting Manager is required to work for a FTSE 100 Consumer business based in Central London (3 days per week in the office). This is an opportunity to work for a market-leading brand with an internationally renowned presence.

Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting, you will be working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and in a business that offers fast-track career progression. This is a key role in the business, you will take ownership for the group reporting for several international business units. You will also be involved in project work such as implementing new group-wide policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking full ownership for the reporting for complex international business units. This includes consolidation of budgets, actuals and forecasts and submitting these to the parent company
  • Working as the point of contact for stakeholders for your business units, including dealing with any technical accounting issues and reviewing the monthly reporting figures
  • Playing a key part in the interim and annual group consolidation under IFRS
  • Drafting the financial reporting pack for your division and supporting with the audit committee process
  • Involvement in various projects including supporting with the rollout of new IFRS standards and writing technical papers where necessary
  • Continuously looking at ways to improve existing controls and processes
  • Supporting with supervising Reporting Accountants in the team

Skill set required
To be considered you must be an ACA/CA Qualified Accountant who has qualified from a Big 4/Top 10 Practice with 3+ years post qualified experience. You will be either operating at Manager level within practice or have post qualified experience working in a group finance function for a listed business. You must have proven consolidation experience as well as strong technical IFRS knowledge. Proven examples of where you have implemented, or improved policies and processes are strongly advantageous as is knowledge of Hyperion. The the ability to work to tight deadlines and build relationships with stakeholders globally is the key to the success in this role.
