Maths teacher - Salford - January start
A dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher is required to work on a part time (0.9) basis at a large secondary school in Salford from 3rd January. The role will then continue for the rest of the academic year, until 29th July 2025.
This position is five days a week, part time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Maths teachers.
You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however, it is not essential that it is Maths related)
Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Maths
Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
Experience of teaching in a UK Secondary School (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
Up to date Prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of GBP45.20
Provide a minimum of two professional references
