Search Engine Optimisation & Pay Per Click Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a Search Optimisation (SEO) & Pay Per Click (PPC) Lead to join our team. The role holder will be responsible for managing all aspects of digital marketing including online advertising, PPC, SEO, online brand presence and ultimately online lead generation. The role involves working with the Digital Marketing, Website and Application Manager to define the strategy for digital marketing and ownership of the plan, roadmap, reporting and budget required to execute the strategy. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) approximately 1 day per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and manage the digital marketing roadmap, keep an external focus on changing digital trends and evaluating emerging technologies to ensure our activity remain relevant and up-to-date technically.
  • Identify trends and insights and optimise activity accordingly to maximise spend and performance.
  • Set-up and ensure monthly digital reporting across all paid (PPC) online advertising, SEO and lead generation and share findings with the wider business.
  • Own, update, manage and track SEO across all web pages on behalf of the wider Marketing team. Conduct key-word research and keep a central record of the key search terms. Monitor and improve organic SEO performance against targets and KPIs.
  • Deliver paid search (PPC) activity for brand terms and campaigns on a regular basis, manage the associated budget, while monitoring/reporting on those aspects of paid.
  • Responsible for agency briefings and management of the budget for paid spend on behalf of the wider Marketing Team.
  • Work with and manage our key digital agency, ensuring a program of work exists that has a line of sight to the overarching digital plan and strategy.

**What we need from you

  • Substantial digital marketing experience with a strong commercial focus.
  • Multifaceted understanding of the evolving marketing landscape, including advances in relevant tools such as multichannel marketing hubs, ad tech and customer data platforms.
  • Expert knowledge digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, PPC, RTB, Social and Analytics
  • Experienced in setting up and optimising PPC campaigns on all major search engines
  • The ability to interpret web stats, in addition to the ability to interpret complex data and concepts to identify trends and translate information for different audience needs.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Ads.

It would be great if you had

  • Knowledge of tools including HubSpot, SEMrush, and Hotjar (or similar).
  • Working knowledge of ad-serving tools.
  • Managing projects with multiple workstreams and across multiple channels.
  • Agency management experience (campaign/design/development briefing and performance measurement against contract).
