Full Details:

Our client, a well-established player in the food industry, is seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary basis. With an immediate start and a competitive hourly rate of £20.51, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a high-performing organisation.

Working closely with their Finance function, you will play a key role in their transition to a new ERP system. Your meticulous attention to detail and advanced Excel skills will be put to good use as you support the team with various financial tasks and responsibilities. This includes quarterly VAT and Intrastat reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, expenses management, and other ad hoc requirements.

To excel in this role, you will need at least 3 years' experience in a similar position. Strong numerical and administrative skills are a must, as well as a problem-solving attitude and the ability to multitask effectively. Your analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and high level of accuracy will contribute to your success in this role.

The successful candidate will also be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills being highly desirable. Experience with Exchequer or older accounting systems will be advantageous.

In return, you will be a part of a supportive team, enjoy full-time hours (37.5 hours per week), and have the flexibility to work hybrid once fully settled. This allows for a perfect work-life balance, with three days in the office and two days working from the comfort of your own home.

  • Licence invoice input/cashing off
  • Freight uploads (DHL/Saunders)
  • Navan expenses support
  • Tracking currency adjustments
