Key Responsibilities:
- Global Collaboration: Work with a wide range of stakeholders across 45+ territories to enhance local royalty processing and standardise practices. Promote the adoption of global royalty standards and solutions.
- Issue Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues, providing expert analysis and support to resolve challenges. Lead training sessions and demonstrations to ensure effective use of royalty systems.
- Process Improvement: Partner with global teams, including product owners and IT developers, to document and convey business needs, ensuring that royalty systems align with global requirements.
- Strategic Contribution: Assist in implementing new business processes and applications, contributing to plans that improve operational efficiency and manage risks.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven Royalty Knowledge: At least 3 years of experience in royalty-related roles, with a strong understanding of artist and copyright royalties.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of managing expectations at various organisational levels.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience in documenting processes and procedures.
- Global Communication: Ability to effectively work in a cross-geographic team environment and communicate with global stakeholders.
Desirable Qualities:
- Understanding of artist contracts, rights, and music business revenue streams.
- Experience with royalty accounting software and business intelligence applications.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience in delivering training.
