We are partnering with a leading global music company to find a dedicated and dynamic professional for the role of Manager in their Global Initiatives and Local Support division. This is an incredible opportunity to drive the optimisation of royalty processes and support systems on an international scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Collaboration: Work with a wide range of stakeholders across 45+ territories to enhance local royalty processing and standardise practices. Promote the adoption of global royalty standards and solutions.
  • Issue Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues, providing expert analysis and support to resolve challenges. Lead training sessions and demonstrations to ensure effective use of royalty systems.
  • Process Improvement: Partner with global teams, including product owners and IT developers, to document and convey business needs, ensuring that royalty systems align with global requirements.
  • Strategic Contribution: Assist in implementing new business processes and applications, contributing to plans that improve operational efficiency and manage risks.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven Royalty Knowledge: At least 3 years of experience in royalty-related roles, with a strong understanding of artist and copyright royalties.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of managing expectations at various organisational levels.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience in documenting processes and procedures.
  • Global Communication: Ability to effectively work in a cross-geographic team environment and communicate with global stakeholders.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Understanding of artist contracts, rights, and music business revenue streams.
  • Experience with royalty accounting software and business intelligence applications.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience in delivering training.
