Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 1 tramper driver on behalf of our client to join their team in Tilbury.

Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday
- 05:00-07:00 starts
- General haulage
- Shifts lengths between 10 & 12 hours.
Salary:
- £18.50ph (Rate is Inclusive of holiday pay).
- £25 per night out
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
Essential Skills:
- Hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence.
- Driver qualification (CPC) card.
- Digital tacho card.
- Good communication skills.
- Good customer relations.
- Have a safe driving record.
- Minimum 6 month driving HGV 1. (Due to insurance stipulations).
- No more than 6 minor penalty points. (Due to insurance stipulations).
- No DR's, IN's or DD's offence codes. (Due to insurance stipulations).
