Description
- Managing daily operations of accounts receivable and ensuring invoices are accurately issued.
- Monitoring and chasing up overdue invoices and payments.
- Performing credit checks and setting up new client accounts.
- Reconciliation of accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Working closely with the sales and customer service departments to resolve billing issues.
- Assisting with year-end audit preparation.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
Profile
A successful 'Accounts Receivable' should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
