Are you an experinced Administrator with strong typing skills looking to join a company that looks after its staff and their well-being?

Our client is looking for an Administrator to join their successful team on a part-time basis to take on office assistant / PA responsibilities and potentially assist with the design team by researching policies and reviewing paperwork for planning applications. So, no two days will be the same!

For this position, they are open with the hours worked. They would ideally be looking for someone with experience working within an architectural or construction environment but this isn't essential.

Working hours:

  • Part-time position
  • Office based
  • Flexible working hours - our clients are happy with mornings 5 days per week or 2-4 full days per week

The successful Administrator will be offered:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year within an Administrator position
  • Experience working within an architectural or construction environment but this isn't essential
  • Strong typing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well with the larger team, as well as, on own solo tasks
  • Highly organised and diligent
  • Polite and pleasant telephone manner
  • Willing to get stuck in to assist the wider team with their deadlines

Key duties for the role of Administrator will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Liaising with consultants, seeking quotes for works including surveys required for planning submissions
  • Chasing consultants (surveyors, ecologists) for delivery of information, relaying consultant queries to design team etc
  • Potentially assisting with planning research, reviewing paperwork for planning applications, researching policies and drafting design statements with the design team
  • Diary management, booking client meetings, sending meeting reminders to clients
  • Minute-taking at meetings, possibly across the wider business, including internal team meetings, and external meetings with clients / planners
  • Administration and file management, ie organising existing computer filing system, organising and renaming existing files
  • Inbox and correspondence management; sifting mail for action, prioritisation etc.
  • Helping with office organisation, greeting guests and deliveries, making tea and coffee
