Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Children's Home Manager to take the lead in managing two of our children's homes, specifically the Therapeutic Home and the Emotional Behaviour Difficulties Home. This position requires registration as the Homes Manager with Ofsted.

As the Residential Home Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective operation of these homes, delivering a professional, child-focused service that complies with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the operations of two children's homes, ensuring the provision of high-quality services.
  • Register as the Homes Manager with Ofsted.
  • Implement and lead the therapeutic model at Woodside Avenue, coordinating efforts between residential staff and clinical support practitioners.
  • Manage a combined budget exceeding £1.5 million across both homes.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to holistically meet the assessed needs of children, including supporting family settings where appropriate.
  • Tackle complex issues creatively, ensuring the service remains responsive and within budget constraints.
  • Hold a Level 5 qualification in leadership and management.
