Head of Religious Studies Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Religious Studies department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement an engaging curriculum that covers various religious traditions and beliefs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports students' spiritual and moral development.
  • Organize and oversee faith-related events and activities within the school.
  • Support and mentor other teachers in the department, promoting professional development.

Head of Religious Studies Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of religious studies and faith education.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
