The Role:

We seek passionate and dedicated Graduate's SEND Teaching Assistants to join our network. Successful candidates will support the learning and development of students with SEND, working closely with teachers and other professionals in our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities for students with SEND.
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students.
  • Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of teachers and special educators.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
  • Prepare and organise learning materials and resources.
  • Monitor and record student progress and report to teachers.
  • Support students during school activities, outings, and events.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to support student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEND and inclusive education practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students.
