Day to Day of the role:
- Oversee the Accounts Department, ensuring all financial tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Produce Management Accounts and forecasting data in compliance with company policies.
- Provide expert guidance on financial and accounting issues to support business decisions.
- Drive the department towards achieving exceptional standards of process efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with departmental managers, offering professional assistance and advice on financial matters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading and managing an Accounts Department.
- Proven experience in the Automotive Industry is desirable
- Strong ability to produce accurate Management Accounts and financial forecasts.
- Excellent communication skills to guide and influence staff and peers.
- Adept at cash flow reporting, budget analysis, credit control, and bank reconciliations.
- Ability to work within set limits of authority regarding expenditure and resource use.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in all processes and procedures.
