Reed Tutors are currently working with the local authority to provide exceptional educational support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEND Tutor to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of young learners in the WD25 area.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated SEND Tutor to provide tuition to two students with ADHD. The role involves delivering 10 hours of tuition per week, with a competitive pay rate of £30-£35 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to two students with ADHD.
- Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
- Provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEND, particularly ADHD.
- Strong understanding of effective teaching strategies for students with ADHD.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A DBS on the update service is desirable.
