Position: Credit Controller
Location: Manchester
Rate/Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 a year
Type: 3 month Temp/ Full-time

Typically, this person will need to be confident in Credit Control and be responsible for managing the sales ledger and daily bank reconciliations.
Duties and responsibilities of the Credit Control:
- Chase aged debt from customers, checking invoices have been sent and/or uploaded to customers portals
- Perform all sales ledger functions including setting up new accounts in line with policy and general housekeeping
- Manage UK insurance cover
- Produce daily bank reconciliation, including the posting of all authorised direct debits, standing orders and bank charges
- BACS receipts to the relevant ledgers
- Support the purchase ledger function including processing of invoices where necessary
Qualifications and requirement for the Credit Controller:
- Confident in credit control activities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Have worked in a busy Accounts department
