Job Title: Recovery Navigator

Location: Bristol

Salary: £25,359 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Hours: 3 days a week (flexible)

Contract: Permanent

Overview:

DK recruitment is happy to be working with one of their long standing mental health clients who are looking for a Recovery Navigator on a permanent basis (part time)

As a Recovery Navigator, you will be working within new and innovative mental health hubs across Bristol. These hubs are part of a national effort to transform mental health support, offering integrated services within primary care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients, providing support and advocacy.
  • Conduct individual assessments to help shape personalised recovery plans.
  • Assist clients in utilising self-management tools like Wellness Recovery Action Plans.
  • Use skilled interventions such as motivational interviewing and active listening.
  • Help clients navigate available support services, including voluntary and statutory organizations.

About You:

  • Passionate about supporting mental health and improving wellbeing.
  • Experienced in working with individuals with mental health needs, including support planning and risk assessments.
  • Committed to a holistic, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed approach.
  • Comfortable working independently within the community and as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
  • Able to travel within the area to meet clients as needed.
