Reed Finance are partnered with a manufacturing market leader to recruit a new Management Accountant to join their friendly team based in their Thame office. This business is now heading towards turnover of circa £200m and is the UK and Europe's leader in their specialist sector, recognised on a global scale.
They are looking for a very technically astute management accountant to work closely with their Finance Manager and Finance Director within this very collaborative and engaged team of five. You will have excellent awareness of accounting standards, some experience with audit, tax, import/export, and experience with budget cycles in larger organisations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Production of monthly management accounts including full analysis of all P&L accounts, reconciling the balance sheets, and thorough commentary.
- Sales commission accounting
- Sales reporting and analysis
- Supporting other accounting functions including AP, AR, sales admin)
- Partnering across the business at all levels including budget holders and stakeholders
- Assisting with Year End statutory accounts prep
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
The nature of this industry requires a lot of face-to-face collaboration, therefore this role is strictly fully office-based.
You will be fully qualified or qualified-by-experience with at least 3-5 years technical accounting experience. Your IT skills will be exemplary, and you will be used to working with large and complex data sets.
