Job Title: Tax Administrator
Salary: £25,500
Location: Bromsgrove
Hours: Monday to Friday (4 days in the office and 1 from home)
Description:
Working in a small team as a Customer Service Administrator you will be given full training on the company products and services to enable you to take inbound calls and emails a couple of days per week, and provide administration support for the other days.
Key Duties:
- Answering queries and questions by phone and email regarding tax, national insurance and benefits (full training given)
- Allocate calls to technical advisors based on enquiry
- Processing self-assessment tax returns for our clients
- Working an allocation of work on a client- by- client basis and preparing the tax return from the information received up to the "review" stage
- Preparing letters to goes out with the tax return and for raise the invoice for the client
- Contacting the client by phone and/or e-mail to obtain outstanding information to prepare their return
Skills Required
- Excellent people skills -particularly over the phone
- Ideally some experience of personal tax however this is not essential
- The ability to do repetitive process driven tasks quickly and accurately
- Attention to detail
