Description
- Providing accurate and timely financial reports
- Assisting in the production of statutory accounts
- Provision of effective VAT & tax advice
- Taking ownership in the month end process, completing all journals relating to Payroll, Fixed Assets, Depreciation and Bank
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Collaborating with the wider finance team on financial projects
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with year-end audits
- Supporting the continuous improvement of finance systems and processes
Profile
A successful Assistant Financial Accountant should have:
- Actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
