Procurement & Outsourcing Manager

Job Description:

Due to CFC's continued growth we are looking for an experience Procurement professional to lead CFC's central processes and initiatives relating to procurement and outsourcing.

Ths role will develop and execute centralised processes to oversee all procurement and outsourcing arrangements across CFC. This includes formulating sourcing strategies, conducting RFPs, negotiating favourable contracts, and consolidating purchases to maximise cost savings while maintaining high quality standards.

This is a collaborative role that will require you to build a strong network of internal relationships and gain a deep understanding of all aspects of CFC.

About the Role:

You will establish robust vendor governance, managing relationships with key suppliers alongside business owners through performance reviews and continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities include creating reports and updates for leadership, maintaining compliance through gap analyses and ongoing process reviews, and collaborating cross-functionally to mitigate risks.

  • Develop and implement centralised processes to manage procurement and outsourcing arrangements
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to procure goods and services at the best possible cost, quality, and terms
  • Create and issue reports on procurement & outsourcing arrangements, including board and committee updates as required
  • Maintain and manage the annual review process with business owners, including setting out KPIs for all outsourcing contracts
  • Conduct a gap analysis and perform ongoing reviews between the outsourcing process and regulator requirements to ensure compliance
  • Lead the RFP process for major purchases, negotiating favorable contracts with suppliers and service providers
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate purchases across the company to leverage spend and increase cost savings
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers alongside business owners, conducting performance reviews and driving continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments (Compliance, Legal, IT etc.) to ensure proper risk mitigation

About you:

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in progressive procurement with supply chain and outsourcing experience. You will ideally have MCISPS or another similar industry recognised certification and membership. Experience of setting up a procurement function or working in a start up/scale up company would be preferred.

You will be as strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and negotiation and contract management abilities. These skills along with excellent stakeholder management and relationship building are critical for this roles success.
