London

The firm's Contentious Construction team represents developers and industry leaders in the real estate, infrastructure, and energy sectors, including a focus on mixed-use development schemes, build-to-rent investors, and public sector clients.

Their lawyers guide clients through adjudications, multiparty TCC claims and arbitration proceedings under all major forms of contract in the construction and engineering, infrastructure and energy sectors. The team are now looking for an Associate to join their offices in London. The role will mainly consist of contentious construction work. The associates will have a high level of client contact and will be expected to take responsibility for their workload and be proactive in their approach to the client's needs. The associate would also be involved in business development for the practice.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years PQE and have a proven track record of involvement in significant contentious construction cases at a highly regarded City or international law firm. Candidates with experience in engineering, PPP/PFI and energy contracts are encouraged to apply.

Please apply as directed or confidentially contact Aidan McAvinue at Search Legal for more information. Alternatively, if this role is not for you, I am working a variety of other Construction opportunities with ranked teams in the City London so would be interested to talk to any Construction lawyer.
