QA Administrator

Our client is a rapidly growing retailer with over 170 stores in the UK and a growing Online, Concessions and International business. They have ambitious plans for further growth across both the UK & International markets, and are well known for their customer centric approach, ethics, and fantastic range of innovative products.

They are now looking for a QA administrator to be based out of their brand-new head office in Amersham. The role is initially on a 12-month FTC to cover secondment, however there is a good chance this could go temp to perm. As their QA administrator you'll be working in a busy and fast paced team your role will be to provide with day-to-day activities to aid the smooth-running operation of the department. This will include creation and maintenance of product files on domestic products, support in product related incidents and complaints investigations. Getting hands on product will also form a key part of your role. We would ideally like a full UK driving license, as occasionally you will need to pick up samples from suppliers.

QA Administrator – Responsibilities

  • Ensure product technical files are created and maintained.
  • Manage the product technical file log ensuring accurate data is recorded.
  • Support team with product investigations where necessary.
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers and internal department.
  • Ensure all communications and instructions to suppliers are clear and completed.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure QA documentation deadlines are met.
  • Regular updates to the team over status of product certification and any challenges.
  • Monitor and maintain website safety warnings to ensure accuracy.
  • Support international team with ad hoc documentation requests in a timely manner.
  • Provide general administrative support to the department.

QA Administrator – Required Skills

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Basic understanding of OneDrive and SharePoint is preferred.
  • Must be willing to be hands-on and adaptable in the role.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Previous experience of working in an office environment supporting departments is desirable, although not essential.
  • Data savvy with an interest in working with numbers to shape decision making.
