We are seeking skilled Electrical Repair Workshop Technicians with a diverse range of Electrical technical abilities to join our growing team.
If you have a background in Electrical Wiring, Electrical Testing, PAT Testing and have held an 18th Edition then we'd like to hear from you today.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in various fields including electrical and mechanical assemblies and repairs.
This role requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Electrical Repair Workshop Technician Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment such as electrical distribution boxes, lighting, extension leads, cables and sockets.
- Perform electrical and mechanical assembly as needed
- Conduct PAT testing and calibration of equipment to ensure functionality
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and equipment specifications via compouter database
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results
Electrical Repair Workshop Technician Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in wiring, common electrical, electrical testing and mechanical assembly skills
- Previously held 18th Edition qualification or ECS card
- Prior experience as an assembler in an Electrical environment
- Ability to perform cable, harness, loom wiring for electrical systems
- Familiarity with control panel wiring for both electrical and electronic systems
- Certification or experience in maintenance electrical work
- Familiarity with quality control processes in electrical and mechanical assembly
