Jonathan Lee Recruitment is working with a collaborative company to recruit a System Integration Lead Engineer for their team in Gaydon. This contract System Integration Lead Engineer role offers a umbrella pay rate of £31.89 per hour (Inside IR35) for your expertise.
The Central Systems Integration Team (CSI) are accountable for integrating all customer features and functions into customer products. The team ensures that seamless cross-functional working happens to execute all phases of feature, systems, and software delivery - the creation of design requirements and specifications, requirements exchange and agreement, network design finalization and test case execution, to introduce features and software in the target electrical architecture(s) in a planned and controlled way.

- Work with the delivery domains in Agile methodology and ensure that all elements of feature and system implementation happen in a timely manner
- Spot any threats that arise, remove roadblocks, and resolve any cross-functional disconnects to allow the overall plan to succeed
- Support transparency of status to the wider business for maintaining the Mainline Integration Plan (MIP) within the JIRA toolset, coordinating inputs, and producing the weekly consolidated Integration Report
- Provide all stakeholders with a full view of plans for feature and function availability and maturity so that functionality for vehicles and test properties is continually understood
The successful System Integration Lead Engineer will have a thorough understanding of the Systems Design Life Cycle - system definition, system architecture development, requirements specification, design reviews, systems integration, system assessment, and acceptance. Additional qualifications include:
- Excellent technical project management skills with the ability to deliver complex mechatronic systems at a whole vehicle integration level
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaboratively influence delivery teams across the engineering function
- Proven ability to interpret and use technical data along with business skills with technical decision-making
- Good working knowledge of Office 365
