We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our client's dynamic team within the technology sector. This role is ideal for an individual with a comprehensive knowledge of engineering disciplines and a specific area of expertise. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering technical services both on-site and at their factory, focusing on the design, production, and support of modern and legacy products.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including supply chain contacts and customers.
  • Deliver technical services at customer sites and within the factory environment.
  • Manage in-service support of legacy products, including obsolescence management and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS).
  • Process engineering changes for products and deliver repair services to customer equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, technical standards, and quality standards.
  • Maintain responsibility for safety regulations and standards adherence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge base across all engineering disciplines with discipline-specific expertise.
  • Proficient in small team collaboration, with diverse skill sets.
  • Basic understanding of private company operations, including order delivery and revenue generation.
  • Energetic, curious, methodical, and determined problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical matters effectively to management.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Managing multiple engineering workflows concurrently.
  • Managing a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Subject matter expertise in electrical, electronic, or communications engineering is strongly preferred.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Engineering qualification at level 6 or higher.
  • Membership or professional accreditation with a technical institution (e.g., IET, APM).

Additional Requirements:

  • UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK or internationally as required.
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
