QHSE Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a QHSE Manager for a an engineering business based in Bradford. With a long, established history, the business are known for its expertise in designing, manufacturing, and supplying a wide range of industrial products serving various sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, and commercial buildings, offering tailored solutions.

While based in the UK, the business serves clients worldwide, leveraging its extensive expertise to deliver solutions across different countries and industries. As a QHSE Manager and a vital member of the Senior Leadership team, you will be instrumental in steering their strategic initiatives to ensure they exceed expectations in quality, safety, and environmental compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 to enhance product quality
  • Manage detailed internal, supplier, and subcontractor audits serving as the primary point of contact for clients
  • Conducting supplier audits
  • Accident and Incident Investigation
  • CAPA Management: Develop and administer corrective and preventive actions to rectify non-conformances
  • Lead the creation, administration, and maintenance of procedures and policies across the company to meet all applicable standards
  • Drive the development of inspection test plans (ITPs) and foster a proactive safety culture within the company
  • Identify and address training needs, either by sourcing external training providers or conducting in-house training sessions to ensure all team members are knowledgeable and equipped to perform their roles safely
  • Oversee regular servicing and maintenance schedules for all company equipment, including calibrations and safety inspections, to ensure high operational standards and prevent equipment-related issues

I'm keen to speak to QHSE Manager's with the following skillset:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing sector, with a proven track record in leadership and strategic planning
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO9001, 45001 && 14001
  • Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate required
  • Internal Auditor Qualification in either ISO 9001 or ISO 45001 is essential
  • Full UK driving License
  • Valid CSCS card desirable
  • Knowledge of welding regulations
