The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Bristol area. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne Drivers (CAT C1) to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am -5pm (occasional weekend available)
Pay Rate: Mon- Fri £12.57 with overtime paid at £13.50 / Saturday £15.75 / Sunday £21.00
Location: Bristol (BS16)
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
- Delivering and collecting crates from removal companies, schools, retail units, commercial businesses etc
- Follow a planned route, using PDA devices to confirm collections and deliveries and any site access issues
- Operate a Sat Nav and smart phone
- No handball required however, there may be stair work (if there is stair work, you will be buddied with another driver)
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license with C1 entitlement (7.5 tonne).
- Minimum of 1 year experience required
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
