  • Job Type: Hybrid – 2 days in the office

Reed Professional Services are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work with one of our FTSE 100 clients on a pivotal project within their Commercial IT team. This role is integral to the Digital, Innovation, and Transformation sector, focusing on data cleansing and data migration within a CRM transformation programme.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead and manage the project delivery process, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders at all levels and external software partners.
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects with specific involvement in managing data cleansing and data migration tasks.
  • Develop and maintain internal partner relationships, understanding the importance of working with third parties.
  • Apply architecture, policies, and governance to the delivery of the project.
  • Manage upwards and influence within a complex environment.
  • Contribute collaboratively in a team-based environment, beyond the direct remit of the position.
  • Utilise knowledge and experience of both traditional and modern software/IT development lifecycles.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including Qualification, Concept, Feasibility, and Business Case Development.
  • Manage project finances effectively, ensuring cost performance assessment and financial planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in scoping project management activities, specifically around data cleansing and data migration within a CRM transformation programme.
  • Strong understanding of working with third parties and developing internal partner relationships.
  • Excellent people management skills and the ability to manage and influence in a complex environment.
  • In-depth understanding of business and a collaborative, team-based approach.
  • Knowledge and experience of both traditional and modern software/IT development lifecycles (Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall).
  • Financial acumen with experience in project financial planning.

Desirable:

  • Technical domain experience in system integration, building frameworks, developing APIs, and messaging standards.
  • Experience with Agile/Lean teams using SCRUM, KANBAN, XP delivery process frameworks.
  • Continuous improvement knowledge and experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management, and MS Office tools.
  • Supplier management experience, from single to multiple external suppliers.
  • Previous experience in a logistics company or consultancy is advantageous.
