Eaton Syalon are seeking an ambitious and driven individual for a Management Accountant opportunity. We have been engaged on an exclusive basis by a well-established manufacturing business based in Swadlincote to hire a part qualified Assistant Management Accountant, or Management Accountant into their team as Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team where you will make a significant impact on the financial performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and production of management accounts, including P&L accounts, labour utilisation, and balance sheet analysis.
- Provide financial analysis to support decision-making, cost control, and improve business performance.
- Support operational teams with budgeting, forecasting, and gross margin analysis.
- Prepare VAT returns, national statistics, and manage intercompany transactions.
- Conduct detailed cost variance analysis and inventory reporting.
- Assist with year-end audits and month-end processes.
We are seeking an AAT qualified individual with aspirations to continue further professional studies (it may be you are at the early stages of CIMA study and keen to gain further management accounting experience. We would love you to have worked in a manufacturing setting and have strong Excel skills along with proficiency in ERP systems too. This role requires you to work closely with, and build proactive working relationships with the wider business.
This role is ideally suited to an Assistant Accountant looking for a step up, or a Management Accountant keen to progress within a supportive team environment.
