Java Developer

Posted by Morgan Philips Executive.

My client is a Global Investment bank currently undergoing serious expansion in their Engineering group - we are hiring for multiple headcount to work on some key initiatives from their Birmingham hub - this will be working onsite for at least 3 days a week, preferably more so you MUST be in commutable distance.

Due to the discreet nature of the project I am unable to disclose the key deliverables however this will be an exciting time to be a part of a transformational project which could lead to a long-term tenure.

Essential technical skills:

  • Strong programming skills in Java with proficiency in object-oriented design principles
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring and Hibernate
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks (Angular or React)
  • Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, ORacle, Cassandra, MongoDB
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines especially using Git
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux experience

These hires are urgent and we are looking to onboard quickly. If you have solid commercial experience of working on large scale platforms, please apply, we can be flexible.

Please note you will receive an automated response advising you that we have received your CV.
