Office Assistant 12 month fixed term contract

Our client is an award-winning, full service, commercial law firm and they are rapidly developing a national reputation for its innovative approach to delivering legal services. They operate in the financial services, leisure, retail & consumer goods, technology & media, renewables, housing and public sectors. Their specialisms are real estate, banking and finance, commercial, corporate, employment, dispute resolution and litigation.

The Job:

On behalf of our client we are seeking an Administrator on a 12 month fixed term contract.

In this role your role will include:

  • Filing
  • Opening new instructions accurately and within service standards, inputting data and preparing initial letters and documents
  • Distributing post and action workflow via their case management system
  • Supporting case handlers with administrative tasks
  • Telephoning agents/third parties and preparing relevant papers and documentation for case handlers.
  • Provide telephone support and deal with client enquiries in the case handlers absence.
  • General photocopying and preparation of court bundles and documents.
  • Ensure work issues or problems are reported immediately to Section Leas / Supervisors.
  • File closing

The Person:

For this role, our client is looking for someone who is accurate, organised and a team player.

As well as this you will also have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • Professional and keen to learn
