What you'll be doing
Due to development and growth, Greencore Warrington are looking to recruit Preparation Operative on permanent contract. As a Preparation Operative, you'll play a major part in making some of the nation's much-loved products. You'll have a passion for quality and follow all the correct processes and procedures to ensure the best products are made and our customers are satisfied. Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 5:30am-5:30pm, pay rate £13.49 per hour
As Preparation Operative you will be required:
- Cooking of batch sauce through computerized pans (GEA) ensuring sauces are cooked to required standard and adhere to CCP
- control of labelling sauces and paperwork
- ensuring you work in a clean & hygienic workplace.
- reporting through of equipment breakdowns to the correct managers
- to be able to cover jobs within the department for holiday cover
- this role involves standing for long periods of time, working in chilled environment and wear personal protective equipment
What we're looking for
- You're comfortable with handling, preparing food and you've ideally had experience of working in a food manufacturing environment.
- You're comfortable with standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying, as well as other tasks such as cleaning.
- You have pride in the quality of the products you produce.
- You are a great team player - respectful and appreciative towards our Greencore Family.
- You are friendly, honest, and hardworking and enjoy some fun at work!
- Understanding of health & Safety and Food Hygiene (although training will be given)
- Good level of English and Math's
