Job Description

This role is for a Financial Services administrator to support the Client Review Team in all administration duties that are associated with the preparation of the review reports for our clients together with taking an active role in key procedures i.e. Letter of Authority and Disengagement.

The role would suit somebody looking for experience to progress into the Associate Paraplanner role but would equally suit somebody looking for a role to fit around personal commitments that doesn't necessarily lead to progression into a new role.

As experience and knowledge develops, this role will act as the nominated deputy in the absence of the Paraplanning Support Associate colleague.

We allow time for training on products and providers as well whilst developing industry knowledge, with the opportunity to take exams should this be of interest but is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • To liaise with product providers and other third parties either online or over the phone to produce valuation reports for onward submission to colleagues within the Client Review Team whilst ensuring the quality and accuracy of the information provided is always maintained.
  • To take lead on all uploads to our back-office system Intelliflo (iO) from relevant product providers.
  • To obtain agency via the submission of Letter of Authority (LOA) and ensure relevant colleagues are kept informed and updated on the status until registration has been confirmed.
  • To manage tasks that have been assigned in a timely and efficient manner, with the expectations of the client and/or internal colleague(s) being managed as appropriate.
  • To be the lead contact for all Disengaged clients and liaising with relevant third-party providers
  • To obtain Tax Packs for Crowe UK LLP clients on request.
  • To action adhoc EOW/COA and liaising with the Primary Client Support colleague as appropriate together with relevant third-party providers.
  • Collect and collate information and data about the client and maintain up to date records on our core back-office system though accurate data entry.
  • Maintain the iO database ensuring that all tasks are completed in line with the company policy and procedures with up-to-date accurate information together with the correct labelling of the client documents.
  • To complete allocated tasks/activities from the Client Review Team Lead in the absence of the Paraplanning Support Associate.
  • The ability to draft simple cover letters and holding emails when required.
  • To help the Client Review/Paraplanning team when required with the printing and posting of reports.
  • To help the Client Review/Paraplanning team when required with the issuing of reports through our secure portals.
  • To continue improving and developing industry and regulatory knowledge through experience on the role as well as utilising the learning tools available and your Personal Development hour.

Key Skills

  • Proficient IT skills in core Microsoft Office systems.
  • Organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Previous experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Patience and resilience.
