We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the implementation of our product strategy for a key segment of our digital offerings. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing product opportunities, defining the products to be built, and effectively communicating with stakeholders. This role is pivotal in designing and delivering products that are useful, usable, and feasible, and align with the strategic vision of our organisation.

  • Define and develop a single proposition product strategy based on strategic vision and insights.
  • Utilise analytics and user research to drive product development and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor product performance, summarising and reporting on user feedback and analytics.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs and confirm objectives.
  • Build and maintain a product roadmap and backlog in line with the wider digital strategy.
  • Lead agile delivery teams, collaborating with Project Managers, Engineering, and User Experience leads to meet deadlines.
  • Optimize the product during the build phase to meet business and user needs.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivery partners, and suppliers.
  • Manage product budget and maintain business case support.
  • Contribute to vendor contracts and manage commercial relationships.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with technologies such as MS Teams, Active Directory, Polycom, Appspace, and Brightsign Digital Signage Players.
  • Desirable skills include knowledge of video & audio conferencing, digital signage, IPTV, networking, and live streaming.
  • Strong industry knowledge and ability to apply market awareness to product strategy.
  • Proven experience in product development and life-cycle management, including agile methodology.
  • Ability to plan and manage a product budget effectively.
  • Experience managing commercial and contractual relationships with third-party suppliers.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies, including Agile.
  • Background in new media, software development, broadcast, or related media sectors.
  • Desirable: Ability to lead and mentor teams, knowledge of output, and experience in training employees on new systems.
