We are seeking a dedicated GCSE Maths Lecturer to join our client's educational team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in mathematics and a passion for teaching. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to GCSE students, preparing them for their examinations and future academic pursuits.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare and deliver engaging maths lessons to GCSE students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Develop and adapt teaching materials and methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and grades.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the maths department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching GCSE Maths.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and examination requirements for GCSE Maths.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
