My client is the original online trade directory set up to connect tradespeople with their consumer. It allows trades to become members of a platform where they can advertise their business to 1.4million unique users a month.

The main role of the temp will be to support with the behind the scenes administrative task of publishing and adding trade profiles into the company website. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Create and renew directory adverts within company system. Ensure all adverts are proof read to standard and uploaded on to Web Office and deal appropriately with any case notes created from upload.

  • Action tasks within the E-mail inbox daily.

  • Conduct allocated 'Daily Tasks' listed within the following Web Office automated and manual 'Artwork Tanks':

  • Amendments

  • Check proof

  • Extra Box

  • Managed numbers

  • New Application

  • Now RVM - Managed Numbers

  • Proof

  • Remove Box

  • Renew Box

  • Upgrade

  • (Manual) Proof

  • Finalise directories in line with Directory Production Guidelines expected standards adhering to the timescales contained within the Sales Quarter Plan.

  • At Sales Quarter completion, archive finalised directories and prepare directories for the next cycle in accordance with the Directory Production Guidelines.

  • Demonstrate the ability to use Web Office, QuarkXPress, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Sage 200, and future content management systems.

  • Support business change (including to this role) and management initiatives.

  • A self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, have a friendly demeanour while still able to push to achieve targets, timelines and meet deadlines.
  • Be passionate about providing consumer protection as well as excellent Customer Services to all business clients
  • Have good communication, organisation skills and be self-motivated.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
