We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for an **Electrical Project Engineer.**Our client is a leading provider of innovative electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, specialising in convenient on-street charging infrastructure. They focus on creating accessible, reliable, and sustainable EV charging options, making it easier for individuals and communities to transition to electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities as an Electrical Project Engineer
- Supporting the deployment of new charging point infrastructure.
- This position will primarily focus on all aspects of electrical infrastructure, including design, capacity assessment, and connection needs for deploying new infrastructure, covering both on-street and private solutions.
Core Experience and Skills
- Possess experience in designing EV charging installations for both on-street and off-street projects, and thrive in a dynamic, live project environment.
- Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- At least 5 years of experience in Electrical Design, ideally within engineering or highways delivery.
- Familiar with DNO structures, documentation, and procedures (including new connection requirements and grid capacity discussions).
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or holding Incorporated Engineer (I-Eng) or Chartered Engineer (C-Eng) status is advantageous.
- BS7671 18th Edition certification.
- C&G 2396-01 Unit 401 certification is a plus.
- Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office.
- Awareness of ISO 9001 / 14001 standards.
