Location: Romford
Remuneration: £38,000 - £42,000 + Bonus

The role of the Assistant Branch Manager - Timber & Construction Products will involve:
- Assistant Branch Manager position selling a range of timber and construction products including: sheet materials, tools, bricks, adhesives, fixings, insulation, felt, fencing,, tools, cladding, drainage, paving, aggregates, ironmongery, nut & bolts etc.
- Selling into various main contractors, and subcontractors including joinery contractors, building contractors, housebuilders & shop fitters as well as occasional retail trade end users
- Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
- Assisting the branch manager with the day to day running of the branch
- Produce quotes for customers both in branch and over the phone
- Organise product deliveries from the branch for drivers
- Ensuring excellent customer service is provided
The ideal applicant will be an Assistant Branch Manager - Timber & Construction Products with:
- Must have experience working within a management position within a branch
- Ideally will have experience with timber or building products but would consider wider construction experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a good team player
- Initiative and autonomous approach
- Driven, enthusiastic, hungry with a passion for the product and company
