What you'll be doing as the graduate engineer:

  • Ensuring a clear understanding of the job requirements to make sure the project is delivered to the correct standard and quality.
  • Making sure all mandatory documentation is prepared and signed off (RAMS, Permit to Work, Technical Validations, Change Management, etc.)
  • Scheduling work in conjunction with site and 3rd party contractors
  • Taking ownership of specific tasks as directed
  • Ensuring RAMS are obtained and reviewed from 3rd party suppliers ahead of the commencement of the works.
  • Making sure all relevant parties have been communicated to and are aware of upcoming tasks.
  • Collecting verification data following the completion of tasks as required.
  • Raising any change management controls that may be required.
  • Supervising contractors to ensure all site rules and permit controls are adhered to.

What you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Experience from a year-in-industry, industrial placement, or post-studies is desirable.
  • A full driver's license and access to a vehicle.
