My exclusive client, an extremely high growth, backed Services SME in the Bolton area are looking to appoint an ambitious and driven Head of Finance on a full time, permanent basis.
Having recently gone through a restructure and change of business model, the business is set to continue its rapid growth plans over the next few years.
You will be No.1 in Finance, be part of the SMT and Business Partner the CEO & Operations Director, whilst managing a small yet driven finance team.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, a passion for adding value and "going the extra mile" as part of the senior leadership team, challenging where necessary, and working to drive forward ongoing transformation and improvement across the organisation.
- Ownership of all Financial Processes & Controls
- Ownership for all Budget & Forecasting processes
- Working closely with the invoice financing providers to ensure compliance
- Continue the set-up of the finance function following a recent restructuring event
- A willingness to roll their sleeves up and undertake day to day finance activities
- A genuine desire to actively contribute new ideas and initiatives across the business
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact appropriately with individuals at every level of the business and successfully manage external relationships
- High energy, passion and drive to succeed
- Results-focussed, a can-do attitude and the ability to constructively challenge ideas
This role would ideally suit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified candidate. A commercially astute, technically strong Controller with the drive and ambition to operate at both strategic and operational levels across the business.
There is significant scope to put your own stamp on any established procedures and reporting. Guided by an experienced Chairman and CEO, the development opportunities are significant. This role is one not to be missed!
