Pharmaceutical Warehouse / Material Handler - Kent
Opportunity:
This is a brand new opportunity that has been created due to expansion for a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company. Are you currently working in a pharmaceutical warehouse environment? Do you have an accredited in-house Reach Truck licence? If yes then please read on.
Your role as a Warehouse / Material Handler based in Kent will involve:
- Timely picking and logging / packing of drug orders for dispatch in accordance with run sheets and GDP.
- Palletising.
- Supporting Goods in/out.
- Vehicle unloading / receiving products / parcels.
- Waste Management.
- Supporting Consumable Counts and restocking.
- Communicating with drivers and customer services on ETA's.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
This is a part time role working two days a week Thursday and Friday. This will be on a rotational shift. So one week you will be working 6.00 am to 2.00 pm and then the following week you will be working 1.30 pm to 8.00 pm. Then back to earlies.
The role is a 6 months contract, which will be reviewed for a potential extension or go permanent but this is all dependent on the individual and business needs.
The PAYE rate is £16.51 per hour.
Skills:
To apply for the role of Warehouse / Material Handler you will have the following:
- IT literate (Warehouse Systems experience, Excel and Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail and being highly organised.
- Ideally a stores background in a GMP / GDP environment.
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance / Reach Trucks).
