Reception/Clerical Administrator

- Salary: £12.18 PAYE / £14.88 Umbrella per hour
We are seeking a dedicated Reception/Clerical Administrator to join our team at a vibrant nursery located in Bolton Upon Dearne. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality customer service and enjoys working in a people-focused environment.
Day to day of the role:
- Welcome all visitors in a positive, respectful, and responsive manner.
- Provide high-quality customer-focused reception for all visitors and enquiries by telephone/email.
- Work as part of a multi-agency team providing clerical/admin support.
- Procure goods within policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records of orders, purchases, delivery, and payment.
- Prepare invoices, reconcile payments, and ensure regular banking of monies.
- Manage and monitor petty cash in line with financial regulations and procedures.
- Facilitate meetings with the production of accurate minutes, preparation of agendas, and any other documentation required.
- Handle meeting room bookings, preparation, clearing, and room security.
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing post, maintaining appropriate records.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels.
- Set up and maintain a filing structure, both manual and electronic.
- Work on a computer including internet/email, and prepare and produce letters/leaflets to service users and other agencies.
- Input data, including personal data, onto electronic systems, ensuring timely updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working in a people-focused environment both face to face and on the telephone.
- Proficiency in IT and manual information systems.
- Experience using Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Publisher, and Excel.
- Experience working closely to set budgets and targets.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining petty cash imprest.
