Customer Service Advisor - German Speaking

Your new role
As the Customer Service Advisor, you will be working within a small German-speaking team, managing customers and clients across Europe. You will manage customer enquiries through various channels such as phone calls, emails, live chat, and web interactions. Take full responsibility for resolving customer issues from the initial contact to the final resolution, guaranteeing a top-tier experience for every customer. Regularly engaging with customers regarding their orders, addressing any concerns such as delivery delays, extended delivery periods, returns, or defective products. You will oversee payment follow-ups and reminders, and coordinate with the technical department to fulfil customer requirements effectively.

You will be working a shift pattern from either 7:30am to 3:45pm or 8am to 4:15pm. Hybrid working is available after a probationary period.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fluency in German both written and verbal is required at a native level, along with business-level proficiency in English.
  • Commercial acumen and skills for establishing strong customer relationships are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service should be standard practice.
  • Outstanding communication skills, organisational abilities, and a collaborative spirit are crucial, coupled with a readiness to meet expectations with enthusiasm.
  • Proven capability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on precision.
  • Quick learning aptitude and computer savvy, with high standards of written communication.
  • A cooperative nature and a friendly demeanour are important, as well as being a compassionate listener who values the opportunity to assist others.
