Logistics & Supply Chain Manager | D2C & B2B | High Growth SME Client | Manchester | circa £60k
Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a well recognised retail brand who sell a diverse range of products to customers around the globe. We are seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Manager responsible for the day-to-day and end to end management of the DTC/B2B operation
This role will be based in Manchester working on a hybrid basis.
The ideal candidate must have a retail background in D2C fulfilment and have sound knowledge of working with carriers in a retail environment.
The role as Logistics and Supply Chain Manager:
- Key senior operations liaison for Digital/DTC teams and B2B retailers.
- Primary contact for all onboarding & set-up operations/fulfilment requirements.
- This includes end-to-end overseeing of onboarding, including technical requirements.
- Ensure B2B despatch is efficiently established and on schedule, aligning with team and specifications.
- Ensure all carrier prerequisites and financial agreements are established.
- Ownership of the relationships with our 3PL's, including analysing cost and invoicing, technical delivery of SLA's and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background within D2C fulfilment, preferably retail or a fast paced commercial environment.
- Meaningful experience of managing B2C carrier operations and providers is helpful.
- Proven track record of cost savings and business improvements but not at the cost of quality.
