An opportunity to be a Finance Business Partner for a nationally recognised business based in Worcester! This is a new exciting service business with a chance to look over a bright and focussed team! Main Duties:

As a Finance Business Partner your main duties include:

  • Supporting the operations team in delivering their programmes.
  • Reviewing and evaluating complex or strategic development opportunities.
  • Assessing financial and commercial risks of new investments, conducting sensitivity and scenario analysis, and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
  • Tracking and reporting on the progress of current projects.
  • Preparing monthly management and project reports.
  • Providing necessary information to the stakeholders to aid in decision-making and business planning.
  • Managing the forecasting and budgeting process for projects.
  • Assisting the Sales Team with timely and accurate reporting.
  • Leading a small team and ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and business requirements.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and addressing issues promptly.
  • Supporting the progress of new programmes.
  • Helping to review, develop, and monitor systems to maintain a strong control environment.

Location / Office / Culture

Based in Worcester, the role is hybrid and has modern facilities with amazing offices and also has many great benefits. The company is very flexible, promoting a healthy balance between home and office work. The work pattern is 3 days in, 2 days out, 35 hours per week.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience a similar role would be preferred but isn't a deal breaker
  • Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar professional qualification
  • A strong background in finance
  • Skilled user of Microsoft packages, encompassing Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong interpersonal skills
