I am working with a leading educational organisation who are searching for a Post Room Operative
Contract - 9 Months
Salary: £15-17per hour
Hours: 36.5 hours a week
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of stock, consumables, stationery and courier items to designated points of delivery, obtaining signature on delivery where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records for all deliveries including courier and stock items.
- Collect, sort and process all incoming and outgoing post following operating procedures and divisional policies.
- Ensure that all out-going mail is sent by the correct methods and carrier.
- Operate fleet vehicles including cargo bikes. Maintain vehicle log books and daily vehicle checks.
- Promote excellent customer service
- Carry out basic logistics stock control admin tasks.
- Communicate clearly and politely with all staff, students, and academics across the site.
